Relationships are Vital in Our Growth.

Be mindful of the people you connect with and their place in your life.

Let's face it, not everyone deserves a place in your circle. Not coming from a place of meanness but of truth; there are certain people we can do without at times. Anyone who is hindering your growth and development should be kept at a distance. We should never get to a place of loneliness or lowliness where we invite any and every person into our life. Just like we wouldn't invite a perfect stranger into our home we shouldn't invite random people into our lives. And even the people who currently exist in our social circle may need to be placed at a different level. Yes we are to be kind to all and loving to all BUT we have to become wise concerning the relationships we create. It is imperative to discern the good from the bad and the wise from the foolish. Never compromise your morals, values, or future for the people and ideas of this world. Stay Focused. Seek Wisdom. Be Strong.

"He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Proverbs 13:20

Be Inspired...to evaluate your social network; the people you associate with on a daily basis. Reflect on what it is they bring to your life and what you bring to their life. Be encouraged to change your actions and change your friends.

  1. I never thought of it that way, "we wouldn't invite a perfect stranger into our home we shouldn't invite random people into our lives." It's so easy to speak details of your life to another person, but I would not allow all those people that I share those details with into my home...hmmm, this is def something to think about. Is lonliness the cause behind this action??? Do we value our home and material items within it more than we value aspects or ourselves? FOOD FOR THOUGHT - YOU GO GIRL! Now I have a topic to discuss at ladies night!

  2. Glad I could inspire a thought. You are right when saying we share so much about ourselves to people we may not necessarily bring into our home. By placing value on truly valuable things is where we need to be. We have to become wise in who we befriend.
