We are Life

Our spirits will never be satisfied with the things of this world because WE ARE His greatest creation.

When in search of self look up and within. At times we try to define ourselves by what we have and don't have. In a world where material possessions carry more weight than spiritual treasures it is too easy to get caught up in wanting more. When we crave for more of what matters least we lose the very thing that matters most - our God-given spirit.

God has given us talents and gifts that are to be used for good not hidden and stored up on a dusty old shelf. We often look for what can make us feel, think, or look better rather than how we can make others and the world better. All you need is within you and will be supplied by our Heavenly Father.

A child of God looking to worldly things for happiness is like a rainbow looking to a rock for color.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." In the Right Place

A joyful state of being is knowing you are right where you belong - far from where you once were and heading to where you are destined to be.

Being at the right place at the right time is no coincidence but God's grace. When we find ourselves content and focused we are able to appreciate the things of today and look forward to the future with a positive perspective.

Always be open to God's plan for your life.

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Strength in a Whisper

A simple whisper from God is mightier than any noise of this world or the enemy. "

Be still and know that He is God. When we give Him our time and attention, God is able to speak to us and speak good into our lives. In a world with such an immense impact on what we see, hear, and ultimately speak and do - it is wise to spend quality time with God and truly seek Him.

With the new year approaching we need to make a commitment to becoming better people by becoming better listeners. When we hear and take heed to what God tells us we will find ourselves in a much better position and being tremendously better people.

Never be dismayed or discouraged by the information of this world. Always trust in, rely on, and believe the voice of Truth.


"A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn't to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn't in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn't in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper." 1 Kings 19:11-13

Stand UP

Who ever said you had to stay down? We all have the option to get back up after a fall. Never be fooled into believing that the valley is your dwelling.

As children, falling was a natural part of our day. Scraping a knee or an elbow was no surprise to us at the age of two or three. As we get older we began to walk with a better stride and stand firmer on the ground beneath us. Spiritual, emotional, and mental growth is no different from learning how to walk.

When we grow within, there will be falls along the way. But as children of God the bumps and bruises we endure only make us stronger. We only grow from the mistakes we make or falls we may take when we learn from them and choose to do better. Falling is not the obstacle, standing after that fall is the biggest task to complete - it also has the greatest reward.

The next time you fall, choose not to stay down. Choose to stand and stand firm in the Word of God and in His love, protection, and forgiveness. Standing starts with acknowledging the fact that you lost balance and asking God for His mercy and receiving it. After that its all up hill - to a greater life and of course heaven.

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you." Isaiah 60:1

Be Inspired....to stand and forgive yourself, others, and accept God's forgiveness. Never be afraid to stand after a fall because when you do you will stand stronger.

Make this moment count.

While we do not have the ability to rewind nor fast forward time, we do have the ability to make every current moment worth while.

There are times we wish we could get back and others we wish we never experienced. Time is a tool used to prosper us and grow us up; it is a source used to capture memories and learning experiences. It is a natural resource that is non renewable.While we cannot recreate past events and only hope for the best outcomes in the future, we do have the power to make this very moment count for something worthwhile. We can choose to forgive, we can choose to love, we can choose to live a life free of drama, bondage, and all else that hinders us from prosperity, healing, and happiness.

Make this moment count. Choose to Love. Choose to Live. Choose Life.

"I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice." Psalm 34:1-2

The Gift of Giving

Giving -whether time, money, attention, or love- is beneficial and pivotal in growth.

When we give of ourselves in any form the benefit to others is the same for us. Filling a void is just as remarkable as having a void filled. It increases us in spirit to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Instead of living with a "what can I get out of life?" attitude, live with the intent to give something to it. Life is not all about how much money you make and how many cars you have; it's more about the legacy you leave behind. Think about what you want to be remembered for and live life pursuing that legacy. "For God so loved the world that he GAVE his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " Acts 20:35

Stand Strong. Be Immovable.

Scare tactics and mind games are used to lead us astray and into bondage. Rebel against any thoughts unlike those of God. Stand Strong. Be Immovable.

Growing up the phrase "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." was posted on billboards and used by many people concerning the importance of an education. The mind is the anchor to our lives. It is the link to our hearts. Yes out of the heart flows the issues of life but the mind is like the compass that directs our thoughts and behavior. Many say they have a pure heart but fall prey to the junk stored up in their mind.

Slavery was not made possible by the crack of the whip or the strength of the oppressor; keeping thousands of people in bondage was made possible by altering their minds. Creating a sense of inferiority from birth, with words and even the Word of God, held far too many blacks and non-whites in bondage.

Take for instance, a person in a vegetative state - the heart is pumping and other organs may be in decent shape - but the person is like the living dead without the function of the brain. Today, we need to tell our minds to cooperate with the Spirit. We need to get it through our heads that we are not dead but full of life, full of potential, full of hope, full of power - all because we are full of the Holy Spirit.

Regardless of the oppression and rejection we endured years ago or even yesterday, we have to get back up and try again. We need to step out on faith and write the books we are destined to write; begin our businesses; educate our youth; see another part of the world (whether state or country); we need to dare to dream again and go out and obtain it. We need to realize that the devil is defeated and it is very possible that we are the ones holding ourselves and each other back.

"For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Opinions of Others

When we aspire to become the person others expect or want us to be we risk losing the person God created within us. One of the most important missions in life is the search of self. At a young age we engage in activities and associate with certain people in attempts to fit in and find our niche. Whether we are accepted or rejected - the sad reality is that we begin to base our self-worth and identity on the opinions of others.

The opinions of others are mere thoughts that are based on their own emotions and personal experiences. We have to realize the things that matter most are those things that we believe. We need to get to a point where the only opinion that matters is God's. And according to God, you are the apple of His eye. (Zechariah 2:8)

"Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?"They were saying this, testing Him, so that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground."But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. When they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the center of the court. Great is His Faithfulness

Our ability to trust God is not based on human experiences but on His Faithfulness. And Great is His Faithfulness.

Often times, we begin new relationships based on past experiences. Being curious, skeptical, and on guard describes the way in which many of us start off interacting with the people who enter into our lives. We tend to want others to prove themselves to us by showing that they can be trusted. This behavior is often carried over into our relationship with God. We want Him to perform miracles, signs, and wonders to prove something to us. Maybe you want to know if He loves you, or if He truly exists, or simply - if He is able to provide your needs.

The ability to trust God is not found in our past experiences or current circumstances for that matter; it's not in the relationships we've shared with our mother, father, sister, brother, friend, mate, or stranger walking by; Our ability to trust God is based on His Faithfulness; His Abilities; His Truthfulness; and ultimately His Word. We can not look at God the same way we look at other human beings and ourselves. We have to see Him for who He really is, and the way to know Him is to begin and maintain a relationship with Him - an open, honest, faithful relationship.

"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:19-23

Be Inspired...to trust God and depend on His word regardless of past and current issues. Moving on requires letting go.

Change occurs of Purpose and by Faith

Be inspired to seek out the reasons joy, peace, and contentment seem so far. Is it a greater need for love, patience, or God? Change occurs on Purpose and by Faith.

If God promises us abundant life but our life is far from it, we should ask: Why? Often times, we go through life murmuring and complaining about the past; about what the next person didn't do; or about what we don't have. This type of behavior must be shut down in order for any type of growth to occur. Negative seeds will produce negative fruit. Positive seeds will produce positive fruit. Change is still possible regardless of what type of morals, values, beliefs, and behaviors we grew up with. We have the ability to cut the vines of all things old and the opportunity to plant seeds of new life - love, faith, kindness, hope and prosperity.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

Be Inspired...to seek God's kingdom, will, and purpose for your life.

In Your Time of Waiting

Thank God in your time of waiting. Do not allow doubt, fear, or anxiety suppress your faith in God's willingness and ability.

In our time of waiting for what we have asked God for we may become discouraged or fall into disbelief. Instead of twiddling our thumbs and pacing back and forth, we need to continue to believe the promises of God. We have to trust His plan for our lives. There are many times we may be confused about what tomorrow holds. Because God is not the author of confusion, we have to rebel against confusion and any other thing that goes against the promises of God.

A man once asked me “What do you do when you believe in something and it never happens?” I quickly mentioned the art of positive thinking and the science of renewing your thoughts. But after careful consideration; once the man was long gone leaving me behind with only my thoughts, I wish I would have replied in this way: “It’s not raining yet. See in life there is always a slight chance of rain. But our journey in life is made much sweeter when we enjoy the sun while it is still shining. Instead of drudging around in thoughts of potential disappointment, we should stride joyfully in the hope of the miraculous possibilities.

So in your time of waiting, rejoice in what is to come. If God does not give you what you asked for it is because He thought of something better.


"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire;" 1 Thessalonians 5:18-19

Righteousness

It is through Christ we receive righteousness. Perfection is not in us but in God who dwells in us. Be strengthened. Be at peace.

Many of us fear God rather than reverence Him. We may see Him as this big, bad judge waiting for us to stumble. God is for us and not against us so much so He sent Jesus to die for our sins. Now that's an amazing love. Righteousness is not found in the things we do but in believing and accepting Christ into our hearts. Many new Christians get so stuck in religion that they neglect the fact that the love of God saves us. With the love of God, we are able to change old habits, stay on course, and seek and find His perfect will for our lives. Righteous people go to church but going to church does not make people righteous. We have to truly get God on the inside and accept the simple things about Him and ourselves. He loves us and that love saves us time and time again.

"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification." Romans 14:17-19

Be Inspired...to accept the love of God. His love endures forever regardless of the circumstance. Never let anyone tell you any different...this includes you. We have to accept His unwavering love for us in order to live out His perfect plan.

Pursue Peace.

In all that we do, maintaining peace should be priority. God gives us precious peace that the enemy wants to steal away. This world provides material things that emulate happiness, joy, and peace. When those things are washed away we are left feeling empty and unsteady. God's peace is a prized possession that should not be taken for granted. Take time out of your busy day and spend it with the Lord. He is the King of Peace.

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3

Be Inspired..to find and maintain the peace that dwells within. Find peace in knowing that regardless of our circumstances, we have rights, as children of God, to a sound mind.

God's Love.

God's love is so much stronger than we can imagine. We have to accept it regardless of past failures and current tribulations. His love endures forever. This concept may be hard to understand because of human inability to love the way God does. But we should continue to model and grow in the image of God's love. Love in times of good and bad and when things may not be going your way. Don't keep inventory of the disappointments of life because there will be more - what good is it in knowing the cons of life. Keep tally of the infinite number of blessings God has stored up in heaven and those that have been given to you on earth. Be reminded of His love today and everyday.

"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee." Psalm 139:17-18

Fighting Temptation

When dealing with temptation shield yourself with the Word. The devil had the audacity to tempt Jesus. How much more will he try to tempt us?

Temptation is the same as it was in the days Jesus walked the earth. There is no sin that has not been committed. However, we should be consumed with joy in knowing that God has delivered us out and has provided an escape for us. Many of us see sin as fornication, stealing, and adultery; sin includes all things that are not pleasing to God. When we step outside of His will for us, we are sinning. Through Jesus, our sins are forgiven and we have the ability to withstand temptation. When thoughts of confusion, negativity, or fear rise up in your mind cast them down with the word of God. Jesus did it, so can we.

And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry.

The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone.'"

And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, and said to him, "To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours." And Jesus answered him, "It is written, "'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'"

And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, for it is written,"'He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you, and On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"

And Jesus answered him, "It is said, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'" And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. Luke 4:1-13

Saved from Ourselves

At times, we need to be saved from ourselves. The enemy is not always outside of us but inside of our mind. Improve your quality of life by renewing your thoughts.

We often look to others and the devil to blame for our shortcomings and the unfortunate events of life. We even blame God when we miss the mark. Today and everyday after, choose to look within for improvement. Try to look at yourself and find those things that need to be changed. Our perspective and perception of life determines the way in which we live. The bible says that out of the heart flows the issues of life. We are life and we choose the way in which we live it. This is not to say we control all that happens to us but we do have the ability to control the way we respond. Walk in love, peace, and a sound mind.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

Be Inspired...to be real with yourself and with God. Don't try to impress Him or hide things from Him. He is an all-knowing God who wants you to be the best you that you can be. Instead of denying reality accept and change it by allowing God and His Word to change you.

Live Life

Stop trying to figure out how to live life and live it. Wisdom is grown out of experience and the application of God's Word.

For so many of us, we spend years focusing on the next move rather than making it. We weigh the pros and cons, make lists of contingency plans, and try to precisely calculate what to do if or when X, Y, and Z happens. This way of living keeps us held back from actually moving forward. Instead of enjoying the party, we continue to primp the house and clean up after those attending. Do not allow fear and failure or fear of failure keep you in bondage; use the Word of God to direct your paths and know that He will catch you when or if you stumble. Trust in the Lord at all times and enjoy the party. Live Life.

"A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?" Proverbs 20:24

Be Inspired...to live life to the fullest by allowing the Lord to cleanse and use you. Allow Him to direct your paths and stop killing your spirit with fear and thoughts of failure. Do not give up on yourself because God will never give up on you.

Weaknesses: Entry Points for Failure

Your weaknesses are entry points for doubt, discouragement, and fear. Deny access to anything or anyone that opposes the Word of God.

Do not allow your weaknesses, flaws, or past mistakes hold you back from moving forward. Instead, let the word of God lead you into your victory. Shake failure off with thoughts of success. Strengthen your weaknesses through the love and the Word of God. Know that you have authority over your feelings, mistakes, and weaknesses. The enemy will always and forever try to hold you back from a life of abundance and joy; he will only do what you allow him to do. Continue to trust and depend on God - He is our source today, tomorrow, and forever.

"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need." Ephesians 4:25-28

Gratitude and Worship

Live with a sense of gratitude and worship. Begin to thank God for all He has done, is doing, and will do. He is worthy to be praised.

Doing something for someone is much more rewarding when a thank you is extended and an attitude of gratitude is shown. We must not forget what God has brought us through in life. If we do, we find ourselves in a place that is void of appreciation. When in need Thank God in advance. When coming out of something Thank Him for His mercy and grace. There is always a reason to thank and praise the Lord for His goodness. Jesus Himself, Praised Him!

"At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:25 - 30

Faith = Belief + Expectation

When planting a seed one expects a harvest. The same is true for sowing the word of God into your heart. Believe It. Sow It. Expect The Blessing.

When we pray we need to expect an answer. When we ask we need to expect to receive. Sowing the Word of God into your heart is no easy chore. We have to get rid our past ways of thinking, we have to renew our mind, and we need to adopt certain habits that may be unfamiliar to us like being happy for no reason, believing the impossible, living a fearless life, and walking in love and forgiveness. It is sad but to many of us these things are foreign - but far from impossible. To have faith is to believe the promises of God and to expect for them to manifest in your life. When we are in need or want for something we do our part to obtain it. If we want a college degree we go to class, take notes on the professor's lecture, and study the course material. When being trained for a job, we learn, remember,and act out what we have been taught to do. In the end we graduate or get promoted. Push forward, through faith and obedience, to your new level in life. Go get your Inheritance!

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing." Genesis 12:2

Relationships are Vital in Our Growth.

Be mindful of the people you connect with and their place in your life.

Let's face it, not everyone deserves a place in your circle. Not coming from a place of meanness but of truth; there are certain people we can do without at times. Anyone who is hindering your growth and development should be kept at a distance. We should never get to a place of loneliness or lowliness where we invite any and every person into our life. Just like we wouldn't invite a perfect stranger into our home we shouldn't invite random people into our lives. And even the people who currently exist in our social circle may need to be placed at a different level. Yes we are to be kind to all and loving to all BUT we have to become wise concerning the relationships we create. It is imperative to discern the good from the bad and the wise from the foolish. Never compromise your morals, values, or future for the people and ideas of this world. Stay Focused. Seek Wisdom. Be Strong.

"He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Proverbs 13:20

Be Inspired...to evaluate your social network; the people you associate with on a daily basis. Reflect on what it is they bring to your life and what you bring to their life. Be encouraged to change your actions and change your friends.

Move Forward and Experience Your New Season

Don't wait for a new year to become a new you. Declare your new season today. Initiate your blessings, renew your mind, and dedicate your life to Christ.

Entering into a new year symbolizes a new start for many of us; we make a list of resolutions and an oath to pursue them. Most of the time those lists are lost throughout the year and its objectives are forgotten as we slip back into the same routine of the years past. We have to understand in our mind and spirit that a new beginning is not found in a date but in the rising of the sun. Every single day, every hour, and every minute is an opportunity for change. We can make a new choice or a different choice about the same situations that we've faced over again. We have to learn from those mistakes and admit our way is not the best way.

Your new season starts with a choice. A choice to realize that we did not create ourselves therefore we have to rely on a higher being - Jesus Christ. Building a relationship with God is not difficult the difficulty is found in our unwillingness to let go and hand the power and authority over to Him. Initiating your blessings and renewing your mind starts with dedicating your life to Christ. By welcoming Him in your heart you welcome salvation, eternal life, abundance, wisdom, prosperity, and an unconditional love that can never be replaced. Move forward and experience your new season.

"Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." 2 Timothy 2:22

It's OK!

It's ok to get back up from falling down, it's ok to forgive, it's ok to move on, it's ok to change, it's ok to trust in Jesus Christ.

We often get into a mindset of stagnation where we feel like all of the things of our past are meant to keep us there and hold us hostage. No! This state of thinking is absolutely wrong and dangerous to possess because it stops us from doing what we as humans are meant to do - Grow. We are not meant to stay down once we fall. We are not meant to hold unforgiveness towards ourselves and others. We are not meant to stay stuck in one place, one state of mind, or one phase of spirituality. We are not meant to stay the same. We are not meant to live without Jesus Christ.

We are meant to be victorious and conquer any battle that comes our way even if at first we may stumble. We are meant to prosper in all areas of life; spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and financially. We are meant to love, honor, and cherish ourselves and others. We are meant to be happy and to live a life without fear or lack. We are meant and made to worship Christ our Lord and Savior. Refuse to think and believe otherwise or accept anything less than God's best (which is the best of the best). This is what we are made for and it's ok.

"And He humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD." Deuteronomy 8:3

Be Inspired...to change your mindset by replacing negative thoughts with the Word of God. Continue to grow nearer to Him and watch as He changes you and your life.

Put money and other material possessions in their place in your life.

Even when we do not possess a lot of money we can still be found idolizing it. To be controlled by money and material things is to be cursed with confusion about the meaning of true success. Money is not the reward but the wisdom to invest money is. Material things are not the gifts but the ability to prosper the kingdom and share those things with others is the reward. God's resources are unlimited. For those of us who are blessed with much, never allow money to replace God and for those of us who may lack remember God is able to provide all of your needs. When you are blessed with the awareness of true success and the understanding on the role of money, God will open up a new realm of blessings for you. Trusting Him with our needs allows Him to trust us with His gifts.

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Matthew 6:24

Be Inspired...to evaluate your perception of money and material possessions. If you find yourself placing more value on these things rather than God, family, and purpose make positive changes now!

Wisdom and Eternal Life....Priceless

There is no price tag on wisdom or eternal life.

Wisdom and eternal life are priceless treasures that cannot be purchased online or at the local mall. One cannot retrieve it from church through attendance, tithes, or offerings. Opening your heart up and allowing Jesus in is the only way to obtain both wisdom and eternal life. Never be swept away by religion or false teaches. Go to the source - The Word of God- which is the bible to find the answers to life's questions and the key to unlocking eternity.

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?" Mark 8:36

Be Inspired...to accept Christ and live a life of abundant joy, wisdom, and the promise of eternal life.

Your Talents are Gifts from Above.

Use them to serve others and God.
We all have special abilities, dreams we want to live out, and goals we want to obtain. We also have the choice to use these things for good. Far too many of us give ourselves, our time, our money, and our mind away to worthless ideas and ideals. Instead of throwing precious gifts and ideas away, invest them others. Serve God by multiplying what He has so graciously given you.

"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6

God's Will Always Prevails.

Despite the thousands of darts thrown at you, God will always provide an escape. Be Holy. Be Faithful.

Time and time again, we hear or may use the phrase "if it's not one things it's another." For this very reason, we need to focus our eyes on God and trust and obey Him. He is not trying to lead us astray, but in the right direction. Do not lose focus and place your eyes on the darts following you. Continue to push forward in the race of life; a runner will never win if his eyes are fixed on his opponent. He must keep his attention on the finish line at all times. We cannot take for granted the power we have within our mind, heart, and the bible. Use the escape routes God has planted within and before us and run straight into victory.

One Cannot Comprehend God's Love and Compassion for Man.

God's love is so amazingly great that it's incomprehensible.

Forgiveness, Mercy, and Grace are His love gifts that we as humans so desperately need. Whether facing a trial or coming out of one, God is always the same. Even when we neglect to acknowledge or thank Him for all that He has done, His patience and compassion continue to grant us grace. Perhaps the issue with us in not understanding His love lies in the fact that we as humans seem incapable of reproducing it. Regardless of what man, woman, or child has taken you for granted at one point or another never confuse it with the love of God. Search within yourself to produce a love that's at least close to the greatest Love of All- God's Love.

"What is man, that You are mindful of him? and the son of man, that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet..." Psalm 8:4-6

Be Inspired...to accept the Love of Christ by inviting Him into your heart. Realize His strength is perfect.

Purify and Guard Your Heart.

Judging a person by his appearance is a foolish act; even judging yourself based on what you see is a dangerous choice to make. God has given you all the tools needed to fulfill your destiny. Regardless of your build and race or past mistakes, God is still able to use you. Be willing to look past what you see in the mirror and take a deeper look within. The issues of life are not merely what we see but much about those things we do not. Allow him to purify and mold your heart.

"But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

Be Inspired...to be honest with yourself and truly look within to see those things that are wonderful and those things that need to be modified. We are all meant to grow and change is a natural part of life. Change for the better is worth the work.

Never become weary in diligence and good deeds. Most millionaires have humble beginnings and many of those who were born into wealth squander it all on foolishness. Perhaps foolishness is the result of not knowing the blood, sweat, and tears that went into earning money, character, and anything else worth possessing. When at the bottom stay persistent because those morals, values, and experiences gained on your way up will allow you to never fall down.

"He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich." Proverbs 10:4

Be Inspired...to work harder at obtaining your goals. Do not allow the distractions of life overshadow your ultimate destiny.

We are Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise.

We are to maintain and grow what we have inherited.

The Word has all that we will ever need to succeed and prosper. We have to focus on keeping the good and multiply it into something greater. Do not be dismayed by the serpents in your garden. Continue to trust and obey our Heavenly Father. Being whole mind, body, and spirit is God's will for our lives; however, it is our responsibility to believe and take possession of these gifts. Do not continue to let life pass you by. Arise and live the life God has intended for you to live.

"The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." Genesis 2:15

Be Inspired to... Create and use daily affirmations and repeat them to yourself in the morning while looking in the mirror. Continue to do so aloud or silently throughout the day. A step in changing your mindset is replacing old, negative thoughts with new, positive ones.

When experiencing times of difficulty or beginning a new phase in life, never doubt your ability to win. Confirmation and preparation are essential in winning. While fighting for something you believe is God's perfect will never second guess your victory. Continue to move on knowing that in the end you triumph.

Being ready for trials and tribulations takes a clear mind, pure heart, and a watchful eye. Too often we fail due to unpreparedness, lateness, or simply laziness. Let' s begin to walk in a Winning State of Mind - always ready to conquer any task ahead of us.

"For as he thinks in his heart, so he is." Proverbs 23:7

Be inspired to... combat notions of defeat by replacing them with positive thoughts. Always focus on your strengths and never forget to strengthen your weaknesses.

The Testing of Your Faith Produces Patience.

One of our biggest battles is with Patience. When a son is told to wait by his father, the son becomes antsy and frustrated by the fact he has to wait all the way until Saturday to get his brand new red bicycle but disregards the fact that he is GETTING his brand new red bicycle.

In life, we all have to go through a stage of waiting, and instead of us learning while we wait or perfecting other areas we concentrate on not having and needing to wait. Patience is truly a virtue and when we have the ability to wait the battle is less intense and opens up room for more blessings to pour in. It shows that we have trust and total faith in the amazing abilities of our God.

So when Our Father tells us to wait, let's not become fixated on the clock but consumed with joy in knowing that we will get what He promises to give...Just wait!

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." James 1:2-4

Loving Yourself unlocks the door to Growth.

It allows you to accept, forgive, and move on. Take advantage of the key within your heart.

When we truly love ourselves we make better lifestyle choices; we focus on the things that are nurturing and healthy for our mind, body, and spirit. Every now and then we may make a choice that does not line up with the Word of God or a decision that does not work out as we hoped it would. These things happen, but we have to make a conscience decision to make choices that will always leave us in a better position or situation. Always advancing, always excelling, and always growing should always be our focus.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14

Today's Challenge: When making choices think about the effects it will have on you and your loved ones. Evaluate the pros and cons and make the best choice possible. Remember to pray and ask God for directions. Love yourself.

Choose to Listen to the Voice of Truth

The devil is an egotistical, self-centered loser who will steal your joy and focus if YOU allow him.

Choose to the listen to the voice of truth. Understanding God's will for your life starts with getting to know Him. And getting to know Him starts with accepting Him, reading the bible and praying. It is easy to give our attention to the class clown - one who offers nothing but desires all of the attention. Lets stop giving our lives away to worthless thoughts, behaviors, and people. Stop handing over your treasures to earthly concepts. Today and every day after, choose to stake claim of the promises and gifts of God. And Stop ALLOWING the enemy and any representative of evil to take possession of your precious goods.

"Pilate said to Him, Then You are a King? Jesus answered, You say it! [You speak correctly!] For I am a King. [Certainly I am a King!] This is why I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the Truth. Everyone who is of the Truth [who is a friend of the Truth, who belongs to the Truth] hears and listens to My voice." John 18:37

Today's Challenge: When confronted with a situation that is not ideal, stop, give thanks to God for allowing you to make it through, then ask for directions on how to proceed.

Learn to Be a Student of Life

Learning is all about forming connections between yesterday's experiences, today's advice, and tomorrow's endeavors.

We are truly broken pieces being made whole by God each and everyday. The little trials and the even bigger tribulations we experience in life are to make us wiser, stronger, and closer to Christ. When we sit and really take time to look at an issue not for what it is today but for what it can produce tomorrow, we will inevitably grow as individuals. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. We would not be who we are if we had not experienced valley moments. We could not recognize a triumph without a defeat.

Today's Challenge: When faced with a problem be optimistic. Think of the end result rather than the current obstacle.

"If the Lord delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Psalm 37:23

True Faith is Revealed when Faced with Adversity.

Continue to trust and believe in God regardless of the circumstances. Be filled with the same joy you possess when all is well. Besides, God is the same always and will never leave you - especially in your time of need. Do not allow anyone or anything rob you of the peace within. Too often we crack under pressure and give in right before the battle is over. Stay persistent and you shall be victorious.
