Thank You for the Light

My soul rejoices. Thank You Father.

When thinking about all that God has done one can not help but say thank you. Look back on your life and appreciate all of the good God has done for you. If looking back does not bring any gifts to mind, start by thanking Him for today. We take far too much for granted; living with a defeated mentality robs us of our God-given gifts and talents. Instead of looking for miracles start with the little things and patiently wait for the future blessings.

One thing we must do, as human beings living on earth, is accept the light that shines from above. Negative thinking, resentment, and fear only dims the candle that burns within. Instead, live life with a winning spirit, an open heart, and a willing mind.

The power to both fail and succeed exists within you. Choose wisely which will prevail in your life. Follow the Light.

"The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your Glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end." Isaiah 60:19-20
